Caspian One Open Data attended Central 1's Momentum 2025 in Whistler, B.C. this week. The three days focused on learning, connection, and conversations about the future of Canadian financial services. The clear theme across all sessions was adaptation. Progress requires us to move forward together through partnership.

The content and speakers were excellent. The discussion focused on driving strategic change, not just reacting to technology, with many side conversations addressing the evolution of AI and its role in digital transformation. We fostered new and existing relationships with partners and credit union leaders, building the groundwork for future collaboration.

The Power of Partnership and Adaptation
The message was clear: partnerships are key—a point we wholeheartedly support. To build the next generation of digital and embedded services, credit unions need strategic partners. Leveraging these relationships allows the system to share risk, scale faster, and deliver complex solutions.

The overall takeaway from his time at the event is that the Canadian credit union system is vibrant and innovative. It embraces change, builds trust, and sees the future of finance in connecting, not competing.

Momentum 2025 was a success. Caspian One Open Data thanks the Central 1 team for curating an excellent event that fostered valuable connections. The conference was a clear reminder of the commitment to innovation within the Canadian credit union system.
